Since sharing our design for our new business cards, there are two questions people ask the most:
Why Buildings on Business Cards?
If you asked each member of the PocketBuildings team about their favorite building (and we have), then you will get a different answer. Some team members love classical architecture while others love sleek design that defies gravity. Whether neo-classic gothic revivalists or metabolism modernist - we all love buildings!
We wanted a unique way to share our favorite buildings with others in the commercial real estate industry. Our team picked a collection of 10 buildings that span all periods of architecture, types of design, and materials to share what we love with everyone else.
It can be argued that there are some important buildings left out of this deck. We totally agree. Future business card packs will include other buildings to highlight different periods of architecture and design.
What Are Those Buildings?
The beauty of architecture and buildings are equally evident to all people no matter how much or how little knowledge you have about design. A building, like a painting or any piece of art, engages the imagination and shares a message from the architect to the visitor. With this in mind, we wanted to share the buildings featured on our 2021 set of PocketBuildings business cards from left to right, row by row.
